ROAD TO NAIROBI

Addis Ababa to Nairobi. A test of infrastructure.

.

Road to Nairobi will build on the success of the Road to Addis expedition, tracing a return journey that continues the mission of connecting Africa’s clean transport corridors. This next chapter will bring together electric vehicles from across the region to travel from Addis Ababa to Nairobi, engaging new partners, governments, and innovators along the route. The initiative aims to document progress made in infrastructure since the first journey, highlight growing infrastructure and local innovation, and deepen public awareness about the economic and environmental potential of e-mobility. As with all Road to Africa projects, it will combine data, storytelling, and collaboration to turn Africa’s transport transformation into a shared continental movement.
